Hey, I don’t really see anywhere else to send you a message (on the mobile site, anyway). I wish you guys would talk about short wave radios. Have someone give us A to Z on what to buy, how to put it together, how to get licensed, etc.
If you wanted to learn to ride a motorcycles, I would tell you to take the MSF course, buy Proficient Motorcycling, buy gloves, riding jacket, 3/4 boots and a full face helmet and wear all of it every time you ride, and get a Suzuki around 500cc’s because it is super reliable, light, inexpensive and buy a used one because you will drop it. I could keep going on for an hour.
This is the kind of specific advice I’m looking for. Not just “shop around and see what you like” but “buy this model of this brand.” And why. And where. Your site is good with specific advice, but I cannot find specific advice on short wave radios anywhere.

Unfortunately this is another internet quote that has no basis in truth. The word ‘lunch’ should have been a dead giveaway.

Thanks, Stan. I typically try to verify a quote before posting it but this one slipped through. Nevertheless I do tend to like it even if I misattributed it.
Thanks!
