    that is so true. i was a patrol leader at about 12 years old. all of a sudden i was bossing all my friends around and then i had no friends. i remember a meeting with my scoutmaster and senior patrol leader explicitly. mr wages said we made you a patrol leader not patrol boss. mike shattles said this aint hard stuff. when you make a duty roster you take the hardest task, then help them out when you finish. before you know it; you will have them eating out of your hand. that has made all the difference, and i owe my success to the boy scouts and to mike and mr wages.

      That’s great, Scrambo! Thanks for sharing! I love the comment about Patrol Leader not Patrol Boss. I’ll probably use that some time, too.
