too often the clergy are selling the prosperity package and when things aren’t going your way they look down their noses at you as if you were jobe and they were one of his self-righteous friends…too bad too many Christians just don’t read the book. Read the book or fail the drill…
Yes, God never promised that this life would be easier or better if we strengthen our fellowship with Him. But He has promised that He would never leave or forsake us. And our life here is but for a short time; our home is with Him.
