well he should have ovethrown himself then he was the first to violate the constitution and we as a nation have been subjected to stronger and stronger centralized government since.
The South was not right about Slavery, but they were right about States Rights and liberty.

It’s disingenuous to say that Lincoln was the first to violate the Constitution. John Adams did it with the Alien and Sedition Acts. Jefferson did it with the Louisiana Purchase, or at least overstepped it. And Andrew Jackson!
