In the fall of 1621, after the summer’s harvest had been gathered, the settlers and their newfound allies, the Wampanoag tribe of the native Americans, gathered together in a three-day celebration that would later become known as the first Thanksgiving. For the settlers, who had experienced a year of hunger, of loss, and of trying times, the celebration was an acknowledgement of God’s providence and a thanksgiving for the food that He had provided them in preparation for the long New England winter.
Today, we set aside the forth Thursday of November to celebrate blessings received and offer thanks to our Creator.
It’s our prayer that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and that you enjoy spending time with friends and loved ones.

God always provides for each of our needs at just the right time – just as He did that first Thanksgiving. While we may not understand all of His ways, they are perfect in His eyes. Praying for safe travel for those on the road or in the air this weekend.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. What are each of you most thankful for this past year?
I am thankful for a beautiful family. Each member of my family is unique and so very special to me. May God bless each of you in the coming year!
