    I have that problem sometimes. The old “When in Danger, when in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout” thing. Then I just have to sit down, catch my breath, and think about what I’m doing.

      I think this is a natural part of the fight or flight response. Our adrenaline kicks in and we feel the need to do something. Best option tho, as you pointed out, is to calm down and think through your options. Unless of course you really do need to fight or flee immediately.
